About the Bowls Club

Stony Stratford Bowling Club was formed as a mens bowling club in 1923, and started playing on the present site in 1924.

We are a mixed club, with over a 100 active playing members.

Several members have become County Finalists and gone on to play in the All England Finals at Leamington.

The Club is frequently in the Finals for both the Men's Bucks Cup and the Ladies' Trundell Trophy, having won both in recent years!

We have a very busy calendar, "Friendly Fixtures" being arranged for the Ladies on most Wednesdays and Tuesdays, and Mixed or Mens games on Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays.

As well as playing in friendlies for the Club, most members also compete in Club and County Competitions. We frequently host County games for Buckinghamshire, and many of the Men and the Ladies are County players.
